Ideal if you want to work as a labourer or need access to construction sites & require a CSCS Green Card without delay. Whether you are applying for the first time or renewing your card our popular course will work for you.

Successfully completing a level 1 health and safety awareness course is a major step towards obtaining the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Green Labourer card which is a requirement for labourers/operatives on the vast majority of construction sites within the UK.

The Three Stages

There are three stages that need to be provided for in obtaining your CSCS Green Labourer Card:

1.  Obtain a Health and Safety qualification related to a construction site environment i.e.

  • Complete the CITB Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) course or
  • the Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment E-Learning course

2.  Pass the CITB Health Safety and Environment Test

3.  Apply to the CSCS for the card and pay the required fee

We have 3 options for the training

  1. Online eLearning – certification issued by ETA  All Day - Every Day - Lifetime Award

                This online Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment E-Learning course is aimed at operators and people starting out in the construction industry who need to obtain their CSCS Green Card.

The course can be completed in approximately 2 hours, but you can take as long as you require.  On successful completion of the course, you will undertake your examination.

This course is approved by the following organisations: ETA Awards and CSCS It is recognised by CITB & CSCS as meeting the Level 1 training requirement for the CSCS Green Card.

  1. Remote learning - certification issued by CITB  Courses run from:- 08:30 – 16:30. Renew/Refresh after 5 years

Health and Safety Awareness Course (HSA) is CITB accredited and delivered by our in-house qualified and experienced course instructors.

This one-day health and safety course is designed to teach individuals the health and safety requirements when working on a construction site and highlight their responsibilities and legal duties.

  1. Classroom Based - certification issued by CITB  Courses run from:- 08:30 – 16:30. Renew/Refresh after 5 years

Health and Safety Awareness Course (HSA) is CITB accredited and delivered by our in-house qualified and experienced course instructors.

This qualification enables you to apply for your GREEN Card - which involves another touch screen test ( at additional cost) then every 5 years, no matter which option you decide on. But the first option is a lifetime qualification which will not ever need renewed.

CITB Grant
