IPAF Operator - 3a
IPAF OPERATOR 3A ( SELF PROPELLED SCISSOR LIFT )
IPAF Operator (1/2 DAY - Prior Elearning must be completed before attending practical - choose morning or afternoon session)
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the requirement to minimise physical contact, IPAF has revised its rules for practical training following completion of the operator eLearning theory course.
IPAF’s operator eLearning training will incorporate facial recognition verification. This development ensures that a candidate’s identification can be verified throughout the course and in the completion of the test, negating the need for the candidate to complete the test at a training centre before starting their practical test.
As there is now no requirement for candidates to take their theory test at a training centre, this removes the need for training centres to provide any classroom provision for eLearning candidates.
Any candidate that starts the eLearning theory course from 8th June onwards will be provided with a receipt of completion which includes their photograph for verification purposes. Candidates should print out and bring this to the training centre when undertaking their practical test. If you have difficulty printing it out please contact us so we can assist.
During the practical session group exercises such as risk assessment will still be undertaken as a group but with social distancing measures in place.
Pre-use inspection training for candidates will require adaptation: candidates will be asked to inspect elements of the MEWP individually in rotation, to explain their learning to the instructor.
Also available as a full day course with instructor led theory,
IPAF Operator (FULL DAY - PLEASE SEE DATES FOR TIMINGS)
