Course Overview

This course starts with our User Course, then adds a formal inspection module to enable you to carry out and document periodic ladder inspections.

Who Should Attend

Anyone who is responsible for  inspection of ladders and step ladders. Delegates will need to have attended the User course prior to attending the Inspection module

Hours

A full day training course, typically 8.00am - 3.30pm.

What's Included

Courses held at our training centres include free hot and cold drinks, a quality lunch and free parking. In addition, you will be supplied with a document set to enable you to set up a ladder inspection system when you return to work.

What You Need To Bring

You will need to bring suitable PPE including safety footwear, a hard hat, gloves,  and a hi-visibility vest or coat. Warm clothing should also be brought in cold weather.

PLEASE NOTE: You may be refused entry onto the course practical if you do not have the appropriate PPE.

Certification

Successful candidates will receive a Kingfisher certificate of competence

Prior Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications

None required.

Literacy, Fitness and Health

This course is run in English. Anyone attending this course must be able to read and understand safety notices, course literature, test questions and answers, verbal instructions and manufacturer’s technical literature.

They should also be reasonably fit and in good health, with no uncorrected issues likely to endanger or hinder themselves, or anyone else at the training venue.
