Candidates must pass the theory test before undertaking the practical element of the course.

On successfully completing the theory and practical segments of the course, you’ll receive a PASMA  Certificate.it  will open doors to jobs in all sorts of industries, so be sure to highlight it to employers.

Is this the right course for me?

This course is suitable for anyone who will be using mobile access towers at home or at work, including:

• Those who have never used towers before

• Those who already use towers but have never been formally trained

• Those re-taking the course after an earlier qualification expires

It’s designed for operatives. If you manage or supervise operatives, look at Towers for Managers instead

No formal qualifications or experience are necessary, but it would be beneficial if candidates had a basic understanding of work at height issues.This course is suitable for all candidates who are responsible for the assembly, use, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspecting of mobile access towers.Since the safe use of mobile access towers requires that you consult safety notices and read and thoroughly understand the manufacturer’s instruction manual, literacy and language comprehension are important requirements for any tower user.Similarly, since the assembly and use of mobile access towers can be physically demanding, users should be physically fit and in good health, and should generally, not have problems with eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, fear of heights, vertigo, giddiness, difficulty with balance, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence, including prescribed drugs or psychiatric illness

If you also work with low level access equipment, this course can be done at the same time as Low-Level Access. By doing the combined course, you get both qualifications in one day!
